Investment criteria
Financing is done by Chalmersinvest - Only investing in growth companies from the Chalmers environment, from incubators in Gothenburg and from western Swedish university colleges in collaboration with Chalmers.
- Only investing in companies, i.e. not in projects or similar.
- Investing a maximum of 2 million SEK in a single company.
- Investing via owner-related instruments, i.e. shares, convertibles, options, etc. No loan-financing.
- Making minority investments, i.e. less than 50 per cent of the shares.
- Being initial financier and not investing parallel with venture capitalists.
Chalmersinvest sets the following requirements - Participating in board work,
- Having an incentive program for key people,
- Having owner rights to intellectual property rights in the company,
- Other owners accepting conditions of the agreement with regard to part-exit, venture capitalists, minority protection, etc,
- Having a time plan for the company's development,
- Originators being part owners of the company.
